No-code flow builder
Drag blocks onto a canvas: trigger, condition, action. No scripting, and the flow stays readable for whoever has to maintain it next year.
Qlik Product · Automate
A dashboard only helps if somebody is looking at it. Qlik Automate watches the data instead and starts the follow-up itself: a message, a ticket, a record updated in another system. Built by dragging blocks, not by writing code.
Qlik Automate is the workflow engine inside Qlik Cloud. You build a flow by dragging blocks: a trigger, the conditions that qualify it, and the actions that follow. A trigger can be a schedule, an API call, a change in the data, or an action a user takes in Qlik Answers. Actions run against more than 200 connectors, so one flow can post to Slack or Teams, open a ticket, update a record in Salesforce or SAP, reload a Qlik app, or write back to Snowflake or Databricks. The value is not automation for its own sake. It is closing the gap between noticing something in the data and doing something about it, which in most organisations is where the days go.
Core capabilities
Drag blocks onto a canvas: trigger, condition, action. No scripting, and the flow stays readable for whoever has to maintain it next year.
Run on a schedule, on an API call, on a change in the data, or from an action a user takes in Qlik Answers.
Salesforce, Microsoft Teams, Slack, SharePoint, GitHub, SAP, Snowflake, Databricks, AWS and Google Cloud, with the Connector Factory for the rest.
Reloads, space and user management, moving apps between environments. The tasks nobody ever schedules time for.
Use cases
cimt helps pick the first flows, wire up the connectors and set the ownership, so automations stay maintainable instead of becoming a second shadow system.
| Use case | Description | Sector |
|---|---|---|
| Churn follow-up | A customer crosses a risk threshold and the case lands in the CRM with the account manager, not in a weekly report nobody reads | SaaS, Telecom, Insurance |
| Stock replenishment | Stock drops below the agreed level, the order goes out and the buyer gets a note explaining why | Retail, Manufacturing |
| Alerting that reaches people | A metric moves and the right team gets it in Slack or Teams, with the figures already in the message | All sectors |
| Keeping systems in step | A change in the CRM lands in the ERP and the ticketing system without a nightly export and a reconciliation the morning after | All sectors |
| Platform administration | Scheduled reloads, space and user management, promoting apps from test to production | All sectors |

Frequently asked
The idea overlaps. The difference is that Qlik Automate sits inside Qlik Cloud, so it has native access to your apps, reloads, spaces and data, and it runs under the same governance and access model as everything else in the tenant. For flows that start from your own data, that matters more than the connector count. For flows that never touch Qlik, a general-purpose tool is often the better fit, and we will tell you so rather than sell you a licence.
No. The builder is aimed at the business side and most first flows are built by an analyst. Treat them as production anyway: give each flow a named owner, build it in a non-production space first, and review the set once a quarter. Automations that nobody owns are how organisations end up with a shadow system. cimt sets that structure up alongside the first implementation.
Every execution is logged with its run history, so you can see what ran, what it received and where it stopped. Flows can be retried, and a failure can itself trigger a notification flow so the right person hears about it. Design that failure path when you build the flow, not after the first silent failure.
That depends on your Qlik Cloud edition and capacity. Rather than guess, we look at your current contract and tell you what it already covers. As Elite Partner we have direct access to Qlik volume pricing where an upgrade does turn out to be needed.
